Associate Salesforce Administrator
Billerica, MA - HybridROLE SUMMARY:We are looking for an Associate Salesforce Administrator to join our IT organization and support Salesforce and related commercial applications. This hands-on, early-career role provides day-to-day Salesforce administration, user support, operational maintenance, and configuration support. You will partner with business stakeholders and senior Salesforce leadership to keep the platform secure, reliable, scalable, and aligned with business processes and Salesforce best practices.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:- Serve as a primary point of contact for Salesforce support requests, providing Level 1 and Level 2 support and escalating complex issues as needed.
- Administer Salesforce users, profiles, permission sets, permission set groups, public groups, queues, and role assignments.
- Troubleshoot access issues, permissions, validation rules, Flow errors, page layouts, reporting discrepancies, and standard Salesforce functionality.
- Configure and maintain page layouts, Lightning Record Pages, custom fields, picklists, record types, queues, and related metadata.
- Build and maintain Salesforce reports and dashboards that improve operational visibility and support business decision-making.
- Support routine system administration, data imports, data cleanup, data quality reviews, testing, release validation, and user documentation.
- Partner with business users and senior Salesforce leadership to improve adoption, support process improvements, and maintain Salesforce best practices.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:- 1-3 years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience, preferably with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or another business-critical Salesforce environment.
- Salesforce Certified Administrator certification, or active progress toward certification with the ability to obtain it within 6 months of hire.
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent years of experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:- Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder certification, Trailhead progress, or Superbadge experience.
- Experience with Salesforce Flow, Data Loader, Salesforce Inspector, sandbox testing, release validation, or change management.
- Experience supporting Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, commercial operations, customer support, or revenue-related workflows.
- Experience in life sciences, healthcare, technology, SaaS, commercial operations, or another regulated or process-driven environment.
- Experience supporting end users in Salesforce, CRM, commercial applications, or another business application environment.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce Lightning Experience, user setup, access management, reports, dashboards, and standard configuration.
- Familiarity with Salesforce security concepts, including profiles, permission sets, roles, sharing concepts, and least-privilege access principles.
- Strong troubleshooting, customer service, communication, documentation, and attention-to-detail skills.
EXPECTATIONS, COMPETENCIES, SKILLS & ABILITIES:- Work model: Hybrid; this role is based in Billerica, MA and requires three days on-site each week. Candidates should be within a reasonable commuting distance and comfortable working across on-site and remote settings.

Pay Range: $80,000 - $95,000 per year
