What you may not have is the support around you: planners bringing you integrated relationships, an operations team handling the back office, and a firm whose investment approach you'd be proud to put your name to.
Q Wealth is looking for an experienced Portfolio Manager (or an Associate Portfolio Manager) working toward full registration) to join one of our Saskatoon partners. This role is for someone who already has an established client base and wants to spend their time advising clients and managing portfolios, with a firm behind them that helps the practice grow.
What you'll do- Lead Know Your Client meetings, set appropriate mandates and investment policies, and meet all fiduciary obligations, with clear, complete documentation throughout.
- Build long-term, trusting relationships with clients, and communicate clearly with clients, colleagues and the wider team.
- Build asset mixes that fit each client's mandate, needs and restrictions, and keep portfolios within Mandate/IPS ranges through daily oversight in d1g1t.
- Complete KYC updates and suitability reviews for every client at least once every 12 months, documenting any exceptions.
- Answer client and advisor questions that need real analytical depth on markets, the economy, products and portfolio performance.
- Partner with each client's Financial Planner or Wealth Advisor so investment strategy and planning goals work together.
- Contribute to the investment committee and sub-committees.
- Resolve issues constructively when they come up, and take on other duties that call for an Advising Representative.
