ABOUT THE ROLE The Associate Manager, Segment & Innovation is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of the Healthcare segment for SC Johnson Professional across North America. In this highly visible role, you'll help turn market and customer insights into meaningful innovation-identifying opportunities, shaping portfolio priorities, and bringing new solutions from idea to market.
Working closely with RD&E and cross-functional partners, you'll lead the innovation process for the U.S. Healthcare segment, helping prioritize and advance product development opportunities that support our strategy and long-term growth ambitions. You'll translate insights into compelling value propositions and activation strategies, while partnering across Sales, Customer Marketing, and Marketing Communications to build alignment and enable strong execution in market.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Lead the development and delivery of the strategy and growth plan for the US Healthcare segment, ensuring clear innovation priorities in line with wider North American objectives.
- Build a strong understanding of end-user needs, market trends, competitor activity and commercial performance to identify growth opportunities and where-to-play/how-to-win choices.
- Lead the end-to-end innovation process for the assigned segment, working closely with RD&E to identify, prioritize, develop and deliver NPD and EPD projects through the stage-gate process in line with business goals.
- Develop segment-specific value propositions, messaging and claims for innovation and portfolio priorities in partnership with RD&E, Regulatory, Legal and commercial teams.
- Own the product portfolio for the assigned segment, including portfolio priorities, lifecycle recommendations, mix optimization and support for margin improvement.
- Translate segment strategy into strategic campaign briefs, messaging frameworks and marketing materials.
- Support segment training and capability building across sales, marketing and customer teams to drive understanding and consistent execution.
- Partner closely with National and Field Sales to align segment priorities with commercial needs and market opportunities.
- Monitor segment performance, track key initiatives and recommend actions to improve growth, portfolio performance and market impact.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or related field
- 5+ years of product marketing experience, including demonstrated experience in innovation, new product development, and portfolio strategy, with a track record of translating customer and market insights into solutions that drive business growth.
- 2+ years of experience developing or commercializing products and solutions for the healthcare market, with an understanding of healthcare customer needs and market dynamics.
- Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship for full-time employment
PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS - Strong technical aptitude: Microsoft Office + Teams + Sharepoint
- Experience leading innovation and end-to-end NPD/EPD processes within a multi-country or regional environment.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to convert data and insight into clear innovation, portfolio and growth recommendations.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and geographies.
- Good organizational discipline, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Understanding of customer journeys, campaign development principles and digital performance metrics.
