The incumbent's translational research program will emphasize nutritional or physical activity interventions for metabolic, cardiovascular, and/or neurological health in populations with and without disease, with applied contributions to emerging, well-funded areas. The incumbent will provide research leadership by conducting and disseminating original research, securing and maintaining external funding, and mentoring MS and PhD students' research, theses, and dissertations.
The position will also support the program's teaching mission, contribute to the ongoing development of the program, and maintain professional engagement to further the Kinesiology Program's and KSHM's shared commitment to research of consequence, impactful teaching, and community-engaged practice.
