Primary Responsibilities:- Supporting brokers across the team
- Creating pre & post placement materials
- Constructing reinsurance submission materials
- Tracking reinsurer quotes, authorizations, and communication
- Building client presentations within PowerPoint
- Reviewing/editing documents such as large datasets within Excel, and reinsurance contracts
- Quantifying the impact of various reinsurance structures on individual large losses and/or insurance company financials
- Researching market trends
- Candidates need to have the ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
Qualifications:- 1 to 3 years of experience in a reinsurance, underwriting or related position & environment
- Bachelor's degree in Risk Management & Insurance, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or a business-related field
- Interest in pursuing a career within Reinsurance
- Proactive, creative and analytical thinker that works well independently and within a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Desire and interest to pursue an opportunity that is involving client related tasks
- Ability to apply mathematical thinking in the business and insurance environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Products, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Strong time management skills and project management skills
- Detail oriented
- Highly motivated and committed to continually developing your professional skillset
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
The expected annual salary for this role is $80,000-$100,000; actual salary will be determined based on factors including candidate experience and work location. This role is classified as exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
