The Opportunity

We are seeking talented Associate Engineers to join our growing software engineering team in Charlotte. As an Associate Engineer, you'll work alongside experienced developers who will mentor you while you contribute to meaningful projects that drive our business forward. We can only consider candidates for this position who are able to accommodate a hybrid work schedule and are close to our Charlotte, NC office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Software Development: Write clean, maintainable code following team standards and best practices, with opportunities to progressively take ownership of feature components
  • Technical Learning: Rapidly develop proficiency in our technology stack through structured mentorship programs and hands-on project work
  • Testing & Quality: Implement comprehensive testing strategies including unit testing, integration testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Collaboration: Work effectively with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, implement solutions, and participate in knowledge-sharing sessions
  • Problem Solving: Apply analytical thinking to resolve technical challenges and propose innovative solutions with appropriate guidance
  • Documentation: Create and maintain clear, comprehensive documentation for code and technical processes that supports team knowledge sharing
  • Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in code reviews, team meetings, and retrospectives to develop professional and technical skills with a focus on advancing to more complex assignments
  • Agile Practices: Contribute effectively within agile development methodologies including sprints, standups, and iterative development

Compensation: The Base Salary range for this position is between $90,000-$107,000.

This information reflects a base salary range that AssetMark reasonably expects to pay for the position based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and actual work location. This position will also be eligible for additional variable incentive compensation and competitive benefits.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US to be considered. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.
