Full Job Description
What You'll Do

BridgeBio is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join as an Associate Director of Portfolio Intelligence. The role reports to Strategic Finance and Investor Relations and serves as an independent source of truth for executive leadership on the value, attractiveness, risks, and performance of key assets across the BridgeBio portfolio. The position is designed for an individual who can operate at the intersection of science, strategy, and finance, and translate complex analyses into clear recommendations for executive leadership and the Board.

This is a highly analytical role that will interrogate the entire BridgeBio portfolio through a strategic lens, Executive-level workstreams within BridgeBio. A successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional problem-solving ability, strong independent judgment, and the capacity to translate complex scientific and financial analyses into clear, decisive recommendations for executive leadership. Responsibilities
  • Commercial Analytics & Forecasting: Develop independent, analytically rigorous views on commercial performance of BridgeBio's assets, including launch performance, market opportunity, competitive positioning, and revenue potential.
  • Performance Benchmarking: Track commercial performance against internal plans, Street expectations, peer launches, and other relevant analogues to identify key drivers of over- or under-performance.
  • Market & Competitive Intelligence: Monitor market, competitive, regulatory, clinical, and investor developments that may affect asset value, launch trajectory, strategic positioning, or investor perception.
  • Executive & Board Support: Synthesize complex commercial and financial analyses into clear recommendations for senior leadership, the Board, and other key stakeholders, including materials supporting earnings, Board meetings, investor questions, and major portfolio decisions.
  • Portfolio Decision Support: Partner internal teams to evaluate key portfolio decisions through scenario modeling, valuation, risk assessment, and assessment of strategic options.

This is a hybrid role and requires in-office collaboration 2-3x per week in our San Francisco and Palo Alto Office.

Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, business, finance, economics, or a related analytical discipline required
  • Advanced scientific or clinical degree, including PhD, MD, PharmD, or equivalent experience, strongly preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in commercial analytics. Prior experience in management consulting, investment banking, or healthcare investing (VC/PE) preferred


Skills
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a first-principles approach to complex scientific and business questions
  • Strong commercial analytics skillset, including experience with market sizing, patient flow, demand forecasting, launch tracking, competitive benchmarking, revenue forecasting, and performance diagnostics
  • Ability to structure ambiguous problems and drive them to clear, actionable conclusions in high-stakes settings
  • Deep fluency in financial modeling and valuation is required.
  • Experience with advanced techniques such as real options analysis, Monte Carlo simulation, or other quantitative frameworks is highly preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Clear and persuasive communicator, both in writing and presentations
  • Familiarity with industry data platforms like IQVIA or Komodo and financial data platforms like Bloomberg or Capital IQ


At BridgeBio, we strive to provide a market-competitive total rewards package, including base pay, an annual performance bonus, company equity, and generous health benefits. Below is the anticipated salary range for candidates for this role who will work in California. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type, and length of experience within the industry, educational background, location of residence and performance during the interview process. BridgeBio is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions based in other states.

Salary

$210,000-$232,900 USD
