About the role:

The Media team continues to grow and so does our need for Media Operations experts. The Associate Director, Media Operations will establish clear processes and best practices and work with the media team to ensure we're executing flawlessly against fast-paced timelines and complex plans. To succeed in this role will require exceptional organizational skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to work with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholder groups.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Develop robust, disciplined, and consistent processes and best practices to ensure on-time, excellent delivery in a fast-paced, complex environment.
  • Partner with the Media Science team to proactively identify operational risks, devise solutions, and implement changes.
  • Train media team members to ensure adherence to established processes and best practices.
  • Solicit input from cross-functional leads to define, document, train, and maintain best practices for agency tools.
  • Act as a liaison between the Media Science team and support teams for agency tools to optimize the user experience and increase efficient use of these platforms.
  • Onboard new accounts, introducing new clients and new Known team members to our systems, guiding them through the transition phase, and putting a strong operational foundation in place for day-to-day account management
  • If needed, provide project management support for specific clients or projects, applying our best practices while addressing the unique needs of a given initiative

WHO YOU ARE AND WHAT YOU HAVE
  • 8-10+ years of media operations or project management experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably a media agency or in-house on a media team.
  • You have experience overseeing project management and/or operations for media clients with multiple stakeholders and efforts happening simultaneously.
  • You have experience working with key media processes and workflows, including media plan briefing, plan development, campaign execution, trafficking, reporting, and creative asset management.
  • You understand billing and reconciliation processes for media clients and for partners/vendors.
  • You work closely with departments like Data Science, Engineering, and Finance.
  • You have a collaborative, problem-solving mindset and work well with a variety of people and organizations.
  • You're comfortable partnering with clients and senior decision makers.
  • You possess a disciplined approach to your work and are proactive in identifying issues and developing and executing on solutions.
  • You can capably balance structure and discipline with the moments when a team needs to be flexible to service the evolving needs of a client.
  • You communicate effectively and understand how to present new ideas to encourage adoption.
  • You're detail-oriented, organized, and capable of focusing on the intricacies of unique issues that affect the team's ability to work.
  • Experience with media management platforms like Lumina and Prisma or project management platforms like Smartsheet or JIRA is a plus.

The base salary for this position is $115k-$125k.

This range is posted in compliance with state and municipal Pay Transparency laws. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible to receive additional Known benefits.
