What You Will Achieve
In this role, you will:
Set and manage objectives for high-complexity projects within the Global Business Unit
Lead and allocate people, technology, and financial resources, including those outside direct authority
Actively share knowledge across multiple functions and contribute to knowledge management processes
Champion and develop resources for innovation, taking appropriate risks to implement new ideas
Develop solutions for highly complex problems within the Global Business Unit
Interpret the Division's strategy to establish and prioritize business goals
Assess talent needs and identify potential talent within the organization
Hold managers accountable for their management skills and the development of a diverse talent pipeline
Lead teams to implement strategic directions and influence senior management decisions
Partner with Global Business Unit leadership to achieve objectives and oversee operational activities to support the division's goals
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
BA/BS with at least 6 years of experience or MBA/MS with at least 5 years of experience or PhD/JD with at least 1 year of experience or MD/DVM with any years of experience
Demonstrated relevant experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, Contract Research Organization (CRO), or Regulatory Agency
Proven ability to manage complex projects and develop successful partnerships within and across functional areas
Deep understanding of regulatory requirements and relevant data standards
Strong communication, decision-making, influencing, negotiation, and project management skills
Technical proficiency in using relational databases and data visualization tools
Strong people management experience
Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements):
Comprehensive knowledge and experience in CDISC (Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium)
Experience with data management plans, including data preparation and validation activities
Understanding of the drug development process and data operations required for the reporting of clinical trial data
Ability to create data capture solutions that support the quality and timely delivery of data
Ability to identify existing process and product improvements
Experience using common AI tools, including generative technologies such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, to support problem solving and enhance productivity. Demonstrated curiosity for exploring how these tools can improve outcomes and understanding of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use
Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
Ability to work during global hours to collaborate with colleagues in different time zones.
Work Location Assignment: Hybrid
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $124,400.00 to $207,400.00.* In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
