What an Associate Development Manager (ADM) does at EA:
The Associate Development Manager manages a variety of disciplines including artists, designers, software engineers, QA and other production staff. ADM's are the keepers of the project schedule and help move the development team from one project phase to the next while ensuring collaboration and communication. You will partner with Producers and Technical Directors to ensure the project is managed on time, to quality, and within budget.
You will do the following:
Execution:
- Establish and assign task goals from defined project goals; achieve project deliverables through managing team at a project-level (e.g. Franchise-wide level);
- Collaborating with cross-team disciplines to manage delivery of dependencies
- Mitigate risk for assigned scope
- Partner with production and tech to manage scope and qualit y
- Using Jira, establish engagement processes to ensure all workflows are clearly defined, processes are documented, and staff are trained in expectations
Project management:
- Establish an overall project schedule based on the individual task estimates for production
- Determine the resource requirements to meet the task requirements
- Establish a project budget, determine task requirements, and assign tasks to team resources
- Anticipate bottlenecks, provide management escalation, project prioritization, make tradeoffs,
- Ensure project meets the specifications of the Studio with regular status reporting, and capacity plan updates
Requirements:
- 1 + years of Project Management e xperience with production lifecycles, processes and project planning.
- Experience in a Scrum / Agile software development environment.
- Experience working with expansive teams, mediation and conflict resolution.
- University degree, bachelor's or equivalent professional experience
- Experience in different project management methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile is an asset
Pay Transparency - North AmericaCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).
PAY RANGES* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$74,100 - $102,000 CAD

For Canada, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees.
