About the Role

The Associate Design Evaluation Engineer supports the evaluation, characterization, and validation of semiconductor products throughout the development lifecycle. Working under guidance from experienced engineers, you will perform bench testing, analyze measurement data, troubleshoot technical issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to help ensure product performance and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in device evaluation, characterization, and validation activities using standard test methods and laboratory equipment.
  • Collect, analyze, and document measurement data to support engineering decisions.
  • Support debugging and root-cause analysis of product functionality and performance issues.
  • Collaborate with Design, Test, Applications, and Product Engineering teams to validate product performance.
  • Assist in developing and improving hardware, software, or automation tools used for evaluation and testing.
  • Document evaluation procedures, test results, and technical findings.

Must Have Skills
  • Fundamental knowledge of electrical or computer engineering principles.
  • Basic understanding of analog and digital circuits and test methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collect, interpret, and organize technical data.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience in design evaluation, validation, testing, or related engineering roles.
  • Familiarity with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers.
  • Exposure to programming, scripting, or automation tools such as Python, LabVIEW, C/C++, or similar technologies is a plus.

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $71,989 to $99,006.
  • Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.
  • This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
