Overview
The Associate Design Director brings concepts to life through both direction and execution. They mentor more junior team members and build strong and collaborative cross-functional relationships. The Associate Design Director presents work internally to stakeholders and directly to clients.
Job Responsibilities
- Concept and direct design ideas of the highest caliber
- Lead a team of junior and mid-level staff in an open and supportive way, providing clear and solution-oriented feedback
- Persuasively present work and own client interactions at all levels
- Provide strategic, innovative insights for the development of client deliverables
- Conduct group ideation sessions
- Understand the difference between creating a campaign versus a long-term ecosystem or brand vision, and execute accordingly
- Efficiently manage multiple clients and deliverables at once, working proactively and independently, with minor support from more senior design leads
Basic Qualifications
- Portfolio or samples of work demonstrating smart, brand-building designs and executions
- 5+ years of design experience at a Design firm, Advertising Agency or related industry
