Full Job Description
Summary:

Responsible for the oversight and coordination of all the graduate programs and activities that support student recruitment, education, retention including reentries at NUC University - Florida Technical College and the campuses assigned. Provides the leadership necessary to fulfill the mission, objectives, plans and goals of the campus. Ensures support services, academic courses in diploma and degree programs at the college meet the needs of faculty, students and the community it serves. Assist the Executive Director in all education and training areas of planning, organizing, directing, staffing, coordinating, motivating, supervising, improving and evaluating all facets of the campus' graduate programs academic department.

Qualifications/Education:
  • Doctorate degree required in the field of Business Administration, Education or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of successful teaching experience at the college level; preferably in the proprietary school setting.

Essential duties and responsibilities:
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual retention, laddering/career pathway, student satisfaction, and certification goals of the college by structuring appropriate student services, supportive time for students, academic advising, inclusive of office hours, communication with students, etc.
  • Coordinate and track student reentry and readmission processes ensuring that monthly student reentry goals are met.
  • Meet or exceed daily student engagement goals for graduate online course in all online programs.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance the student schedule for all graduate programs and courses under supervision.
  • Coordinate timely academic advising for students failing satisfactory academic progress (SAP) in compliance with policy and regulations.
  • Provide retention and advising to students and support student services team during evening and weekend at risk outreach.
  • Assist the Executive Director to verify online graduate level classes have qualified and appropriate coverage (faculty) and that instructors complete contractual agreements through module end dates.
  • Provide support to the Dean and ED with recruitment, interviews, hiring and on-boarding to all faculty including New Faculty Orientation or Programmatic Training Sessions.
  • Conduct biweekly one on one meetings, faculty/, and quarterly formal online classroom observations of instructors, program coordinators/managers.
  • Assist with scheduling and guaranteeing requirements of annual faculty development, in-services and professional growth activities to meet accreditation criteria.
  • Ensures program operations, personnel, facilities and curriculum comply with state, accreditation and programmatic regulatory bodies.
  • Manage program certifications and/or licenses for students by ordering, tracking, and assessing sit and pass rates and coordinating external or internal proctoring of exams.
  • Monitor, facilitate, and implement timely course development and curriculum revisions recommendations via coordination with and approval of VP for Academic Affairs.
  • Safeguard the student experience and satisfaction by analyzing and addressing student and needs based on quantitative data and qualitative data such as, online classrooms observations and student surveys.
  • Ensure that instructors are following the standardized curriculum and that course objectives are met.
