Full Job Description
Associate Attorney (Corporate) Kirton McConkie, a large Salt Lake City law firm, is seeking an associate attorney to work in its corporate practice group. Qualified candidates will have one to four years of experience in one or more of the following: general corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, securities act reporting and capital markets, fund formation and debt finance. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing stock and asset purchase agreements, private placement memoranda and SEC reporting and registrations. Candidates must have excellent academic credentials, demonstrate a commitment to ethics, be highly motivated and hard-working, and be able to work with minimal supervision. Candidates must also have experience working in the corporate/business/securities group of a large law firm and be a member of the Utah Bar or be willing to take the Utah Bar. If not currently a member of the Utah Bar, applicants must be a member of the Bar of another U.S. state. Compensation is highly competitive, and the firm offers excellent employee benefits.
