Qualifications

• 3+ years of civil litigation experience in relevant areas such as liability, construction, and commercial disputes.
• Active member of the California State Bar.
• Proficient in legal documentation, including pleadings and motions, and experienced in discovery processes.
• Ability to take and defend depositions, with arbitration or trial experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience supervising junior staff, such as law clerks and associates, is advantageous.
• Strong communication, advocacy skills, and a client-focused approach are essential.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Manage every phase of litigation cases from start to finish, including legal strategy and research.
• Draft pleadings and motions, ensuring timely and accurate submissions to the court.
• Oversee the discovery process, including propounding and responding to discovery requests.
• Argue motions in court and attend mediations for dispute resolution.
• Collaborate with a diverse array of clients, meeting their unique legal needs.
• Utilize mentorship opportunities by working closely with senior partners and team members.
• Cultivate a client-focused practice aimed at achieving favorable outcomes.
