POSITION OVERVIEW

Job Title: Assistant Vice President

Location: New York, NY

Overview

DB USA Core Corporation seeks an Assistant Vice President in New York, NY to support Treasury teams to deliver on the Bank's liquidity, capital, and risk management strategies. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field, or equivalent, and five (5) years of experience driving standardization and automation for business-related data processes; performing reconciliation of profit & loss (P&L) data; conducting balance sheet analysis and substantiation in accordance with IFRS requirements; performing front-to-back trade flow validation to resolve booking discrepancies and system breaks; performing month-end closing processes and reconciliation controls; coordinating with internal teams across regions to deliver month-end close, resolve breaks, and execute automation and process-improvement projects; participating in financial systems migrations, including system testing, reference data setup, and mapping validations to ensure downstream reporting accuracy post migration; posting ledger entries enabling accurate reporting of Risk, RWA for the business and group level reporting; analyzing impact of funding activities, liquidity management and balance sheet utilization on financial reporting and P&L; performing daily P&L and monthly trading P&L review, validation and variance analysis for Trading desks; and operating within regulated investment banking control frameworks, including month end close controls, daily P&L controls, SOX controls and audit ready documentation. **Employer will accept three (3) years of post secondary study toward a Bachelor's degree in one of the above-listed fields and two (2) years of experience, to satisfy the Bachelor's degree requirement.** Salary range: $130,000.00 - $140,000.00/year. This position is eligible for Deutsche Bank's Employee Referral Incentive Program.
