Summary:

The Assistant Vice President, Account Management is a senior-level client service professional who combines advanced technical insurance expertise with team leadership responsibilities. Serving as a trusted advisor within the Private Client Group, this individual is responsible for handling sophisticated client relationships, provides strategic guidance on coverage and market solutions, and supports the development and performance of the account management team. The AVP partners closely with regional leadership to ensure exceptional service delivery, operational efficiency, and a consistent client experience across the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with sophisticated and large clients; Act as the subject matter expert on Property & Casualty and carrier products and services
  • May lead an account team
  • Maintains solid relationships with clients and carrier sales representatives to include negotiation
  • Work with Senior Leadership team and local office(s) to develop regional client deliverables and ensure they're complete, accurate and conform to NFP standards.
  • Attend renewal and strategy meetings with high profile or sophisticated clients. Develop team structure and manage team workload to settle capacity to take on new clients
Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:
  • Excellent written communication skills - writes clearly; edits work for spelling and grammar; varies writing style to meet needs; presents numeric data effectively; able to read and interpret written information.
  • Self-confident to make sound independent decisions
  • Ability to successfully interact with various people/personalities
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Must show strength in examining, analyzing and reconciling financial reports
  • Possess technical expertise plus good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle situations in a calm, courteous and professional manner
Education and/or Experience:
  • BA/BS preferred or equivalent experience considered
  • More than 10 years industry and product line experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registration:
  • Property & Casualty Broker's License required
  • CPCU or other P&C designation preferred.

The base salary range for this position is $119,000 to $128,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
