Job Description Marshall Health Network and Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine, Department of Family and Community Health seeks a full-time physician to practice continuity of care in a combined position of Sports Medicine and Family Medicine at its Huntington Internal Medicine Group clinic location, 3075 U.S. Route 60, Huntington, WV 25705 in Cabell County, West Virginia. Must be Family Medicine and Sports Medicine board certified or board eligible. License to practice medicine in the State of West Virginia required at time of employment. The position includes a faculty appointment of Assistant Professor in the School of Medicine. Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
Job Duties:
- Caring for diverse patient demographics to include patients of all ages in a supportive, community-focused environment
- Diagnosing and managing musculoskeletal injuries such as sprains, strains, and fractures
- Developing personalized treatment plans that may include medication, physical therapy, and rehabilitation
- Providing preventive care and education on injury prevention and healthy lifestyle practices
- Collaborating with physical therapists and athletic trainers to ensure comprehensive care
- Performing diagnostic tests; use of certain diagnostic medical devices

Salary Range Salary is commensurate with education, experience, and internal equity

Required Qualifications
Education - License to practice medicine in the State of West Virginia required at time of employment.
Experience - Must be Family Medicine and Sports Medicine board certified or board eligible.
