Assistant Nurse Manager- NICU

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred.
• 5 years of experience in a similar NICU setting.
• Demonstrated progressive leadership responsibilities.
• Current clinical skills to provide direct patient care as needed.
• Ability to assume administrative duties in the absence of the nurse manager.

Responsibilities

• Assume 24-hour accountability for the NICU Inpatient Unit operations.
• Combine clinical expertise with leadership to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Manage nursing staff and resources effectively to enhance patient satisfaction.
• Oversee the implementation of nursing management principles in daily operations.
• Provide coverage for colleagues and administrative responsibilities as needed.
