Full Job Description
The Assistant Facilities Manager will support daily facility operations, maintenance, vendor coordination, budgeting, and workplace services. This role works closely with the Facilities Director to ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained workplace.

Position: Assistant Facilities Manager

Pay Rate: $50/hr- $55/hr.

Location: North San Jose, CA

Key Responsibilities
  • Support day-to-day facility operations, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Conduct routine facility inspections and coordinate preventive maintenance.
  • Manage work orders and ensure timely completion of service requests.
  • Coordinate contractors, vendors, and service providers.
  • Assist with facility budgets, contracts, expenses, and improvement projects.
  • Support workplace safety and compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate space planning, office moves, and workplace changes.
  • Maintain facility records, inventory, and vendor documentation.
  • Respond to urgent facility issues, including occasional after-hours needs.
  • Partner with internal teams to provide excellent workplace support.
