a Qualifications required: Must possess IL Type 75 Administrative Certificate
Must hold ISBE Director of Special Education Endorsement
Minimum of five years successful experience in special education.
Special Education Cooperative or District employment experience is preferred, but not required.
Must display a thorough understanding of the regulatory requirements in special education, labor relations, and related administrative practices.
Must be highly dependable, organized and resourceful.
Must demonstrate the ability to analyze complex information and make objective recommendations.
Must demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to successfully negotiate and manage conflict
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Executive Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
