The Assistant Controller at One Times Square oversees daily accounting functions, entries from point-of-sale systems, posting of cash receipts, bank reconciliations, credit card chargebacks, deferred revenue schedules, accruals, and, departmental expense allocations. This position ensures accurate expense tracking and timely financial reporting. The Assistant Controller reports to the VP of Finance.

- Vendor invoice processing
- Third Party Revenue Distribution
The Assistant Controller for One Times Square will adhere to accounting policies, internal controls, and accounting procedures to ensure financial integrity and compliance. The candidate will assist with the monthly financial statement preparation, ensure proper coding of invoices, oversee expense allocations, AP & AR aging reports, support for audits, inventory counts, monthly accruals, and compilation of workpaper packages. The position will also support relationships with external auditors, related intercompany personnel, and third party partners.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, preferably within the hospitality, travel, tourism, public accounting, or real estate industries.
Other: - Bilingual or multilingual preferred but not required.

Due to the cyclical nature of the travel and tourism industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the needs of the attractions and other businesses.
Employees must comply fully with the company rules and regulations for the safe and effective operation of the attractions and other businesses. The physical demand requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment. Walking and standing are required for a portion of the day, including walking the entire attraction. The length of time these tasks take may vary from day to day.
