Dexian Government Solutions is recruiting for an Architect SME to support our DEAMS contract.
Plan and manage hardware and software upgrades (including the following potential COAs)
Migrate from DISA SuperCluster environments to X86 within the DISA Enclave
Support the analysis of migrating to ERPCS
Provide architectural guidance for emerging requirements noted on the Technical Roadmap.
Provide guidance for audit and cyber compliance in relation to the DEAMS solution.
Provide dependency identification and recommendations for prioritizing the items that provide the highest value to the program.
Ensure requirements are well defined and technically feasible based on current architecture.
Translating business needs into technical specifications that developers can understand and implement.
Support the stand-up of new SMT-Solution Management team concept.
Fill the current gap in technical expertise that the PAT team does not currently possess and/or have bandwidth to supply.
Understand, validate and track the overall holistic view of software and hardware integration, compatibility, and alignment with the DEAMS The Senior Architect will consider the changes to technology usage to optimize sustainability, cost management, and positioning against future technology trends and Air Force direction and provide guidance to the DEAMS PMO.
Evaluate the software and hardware designs and the impact on overall system function and Evaluation is inclusive of middle-tier (application), and database implementation and configuration. Designs will be IB/TB compliant and in accordance with DISA/OCI STIGs.
Monitor and evaluate software and hardware design changes and their impact on overall system scalability. Design changes are inclusive of middle tier configuration, and the team evaluates solution designs against redundancy, performance, and scalability.
Monitor and evaluate the alignment and usage of technology standards within the context of DEAMS application space.
Support the identification, design, and documentation of changes to the DEAMS software version roadmap which provides an 18-month outlook on the DEAMS program software and hardware components and associated vendor support schedules and cross product compatibilities, and support the development, management, and evaluation of Technical Architecture documents including the Topology to support a Risk Management Framework (RMF) package.
Evaluation of hardware hosting environments to include the evaluation of proposed platforms, hardware sizing, the development of performance benchmarks, network connectivity and integration with Oracle EBS.
Evaluation of additional software "bolt-ons" and the integration of this software with the
Identify, design, review, and document recommendations on improvements to the DEAMS technical architecture, including implementation of best practices for highly available and scalable ERP technical designs.
Identify and provide assessment of potential new product features or changes introduced into the COTS software baseline from software updates, maintenance packs, critical patch updates or similar product maintenance releases to include providing assistance with impact analysis, making recommendations to apply or not apply specific patches, and participating in testing after patches are applied.
Identify, design, review, and document alternative approaches for the DEAMS architecture. Ensure long term viability that will support all the infrastructure components from an acquisition, growth, and maintenance perspective. Identify, review, design, and document detailed technical requirements based on program office direction
Collaborate with the team to design and document the integrated technical solution architectures that effectively utilize Oracle application, database, and other technical stack components including but not limited to: Oracle fusion middleware, DISA/OCI network, Oracle security, and integration infrastructure.
