The roleYour job is to make it so much better that they can't imagine going back. You'll build the AI capabilities that change what a behavioral health clinic can do, from catching documentation problems before a note is signed to agents that handle work clinic staff do by hand today.
What you'll do- Build AI features that sit inside real clinical workflows, such as checking a note against payer and compliance requirements before a clinician finalizes it
- Design the evals that tell us whether those features are actually right, and keep them honest as models change
- Spend real time with clinicians and billers to understand the workflow before you build
- Prototype new AI capabilities, including voice agents, and take the ones that work all the way to production
- Work closely with our CTO on where AI should change the product next
What we look for- 4+ years of experience (ideally 8+) as a software engineer
- Strong engineering skills and hands-on experience shipping LLM-based features to real users
- Rigor about evaluation: you measure whether a model is right before you trust it
- The judgment to know when AI is the answer and when it isn't
- Comfort talking to customers and translating messy workflows into precise requirements
- A strong quantitative or research background is a plus
Details- Based out of our New York City office
- Base salary $170K to $275K plus equity, based on level of experience
