SummaryATI Industrial Automation is seeking a dynamic, proactive and bilingual (Spanish speaking) Application Engineer to manage our Tool Changer and Material Removal product lines. This role is a perfect fit for an individual with a strong foundation in engineering principles and a passion for robotics and automation. It is a remote role based in Texas covering the US and Mexico.
Primary Responsibilities- Provide product technical support to customers in the pre-sale and post-sale process
- Accompany sales personnel on customer visits to identify new opportunities and assist in closing sales by providing technical expertise and product knowledge.
- Conduct product demonstrations using Robots and presentations to showcase product capabilities at tradeshows, conferences, and customer sites.
- Develop novel applications for ATI products using Robots and publish videos and application notes
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions to customers in a timely fashion.
- Use Salesforce for case management and customer support.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to drive product and process innovation.
Required Experience, Education, Skills, Training and Competencies- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Controls, or related Engineering discipline.
- Spanish and English fluency.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in an engineering role, preferably in the automation industry.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and manufacturing processes.
- Experience and familiarity with Robot (Fanuc, ABB, Kuka, etc.) programming is desirable.
- Experience with SolidWorks and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members and clients.
