Description- Assist internal and external customers in the proper selection, use, and maintenance of NORD Products.
- Complete assigned projects through the:
- Implementation of proper documentation and procedures to ensure products are correctly selected, manufactured, assembled, and tailored (i.e. modified) for specific applications.
- Documentation of product specifications for use by customer service, sales, and customers.
- Preparation of materials for training on Nord products or other industry-specific technical topics.
- Review, design, and calculate complicated applications and product modifications.
- Travel with sales team members to assist with technical presentations, discussions, and training.
- Perform field sales and service calls as required.
RequirementsEducation: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or similar field required.
Experience: 7-10 years prior experience with electro-mechanical power transmission products.
Skills and Key Attributes: - AutoCAD experience or the ability to learn AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with variable frequency drives and basic knowledge of industrial wiring.
- Ability to effectively work directly with customers in a professional and friendly manner.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts both verbally and in writing.
Physical Requirements: Ability to work at a desk for extended periods and travel without limitations as required by business needs.
