Full Job Description
Opportunity Information Sutter West Bay Medical Group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing
Headache Medicine team in San Francisco, California. This APC will work collaboratively with a team of fellowship-trained Headache Medicine physicians, providing support for urgent and acute headache management, expedited follow-up visits, and continuity of care for established patients. The APC serves in a physician-support role and does not maintain an independent patient panel.
Responsibilities
Evaluate and manage urgent, same-day, and acute headache visits
Provide short-term follow-up care for established headache patients
Assist with treatment management, medication adjustments, and patient education
Collaborate closely with Headache Medicine physicians to ensure timely access to care
Utilize Epic EMR and telehealth platforms to support patient care

Qualifications
Qualifications
Current California NP or PA license
DEA registration or eligibility (full schedule)
Prior neurology, headache medicine, pain management, or related experience required
Experience with performing Botox injections and nerve blocks preferred but not required
Strong clinical judgment and collaborative practice style
