Job Description: 

Summary:

This position is responsible for sales-related activities and implementation of the sales efforts outlined in the marketing plan for EverTrue Anywhere Care, including establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with referral sources, customers, and EverTrue team members

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with external referral sources and key stakeholders

2. Effectively markets and sells to internal and external care providers (customers) to generate appropriate referrals and program enrollments and admissions

3. Meets budgeted and strategic goals, including monthly admission targets identified for EverTrue Anywhere Care

4. Identifies and pursues new opportunities to increase appropriate referrals and program enrollments

5. Promotes EverTrue as the Anywhere Care services provider of choice in the metro St. Louis area with special emphasis on hospice, palliative care, home help, and home health

6. Coordinates, schedules, and conducts programs to educate key stakeholders (customers) about programs and services that are available through EverTrue

7. Stays current on and applies a firm understanding of Medicare and Medicaid regulations related to the various programs and services; current insurance contracts across the EverTrue continuum of care

8. Connects clients and customers to the entire EverTrue continuum of care as appropriate

9. Tracks appropriate information in the EverTrue database throughout the marketing and sales process daily

10. Establishes a positive image of EverTrue in the public community

11. Maintains a high standard of excellence by promoting a positive, productive, and compassionate customer experience, always striving to exceed customer expectations, and treating patients, residents, guests, clients, families, physicians, visitors, vendors, and coworkers with dignity and respect

12. Promotes an atmosphere of teamwork, emphasizing a group effort in which the contribution of every employee is essential

13. Participates in weekly sales and marketing meetings with the Anywhere Care team

14. Meets with both the Director of Anywhere Care Sales and Marketing and the Director of Corporate Revenue Enhancement to develop and review quarterly goals and action plans

15. Completes quarterly key account profile (Top 20 Account List)

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Prior marketing/sales experience preferred

  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care home health and hospice services

  • Excellent speaking, writing, and sales skills

  • Ability to travel daily within assigned territory

  • Self-motivation to work independently and as a team member

  • Advanced knowledge of computer technology; Database experience 

  • Must possess and demonstrate skills and ability to effectively present information to management and public groups

  • Ability to interact effectively with referral sources, EverTrue team members, residents, clients, families, visitors, and the general public

  • Ability to implement and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.

  • This position will operate fairly independently and will require frequent local travel to generate appropriate referrals and program enrollments with emphasis on hospice, private duty, and home health

  • The individual must be comfortable in a clinical environment and have a general knowledge of medical terminology

A well-lighted and ventilated working area that has temperature control system (air conditioning and heat); The work will have some short notice requests, timelines for completion of tasks or reports and some major projects extending over months; The employee will experience frequent travel by car with occasional overnight stays. Some exposure to outside weather conditions in the course of travel; Minimal exposure to infectious diseases and blood borne pathogens; Minimal exposure to chemicals and hazardous waste.

EverTrue Pay & Benefits

Pay grade: E ($62,300.00/year to $99,900.00/year)

California Lutheran University is a private liberal arts university in Thousand Oaks, California. It was founded in 1959 and is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, but is nonsectarian. It opened in 1960 as California Lutheran College and was California's first four-year liberal arts college and the first four-year private college in Ventura County.
