Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program approved by the AANA
• Valid CRNA certification required
• Current state license for Kansas or Missouri
• BLS/ACLS certifications or willingness to obtain
• 5-7 years of clinical experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform professional and technical competencies in the assigned unit or department
• Educate patients, families, and staff on anesthesia related to specific conditions
• Reassure patients before procedures and accompany them to the recovery area
• Consult with staff anesthesiologists regarding patient conditions as needed
• Monitor patient conditions post-anesthesia
