The Media Science DSE team delivers metrics & data science that help scale and innovate content media production and management workflows, driving time and cost efficiencies and empowering creative teams to bring their stories to life on screen.

We are looking for a stunning Senior Analytics Engineer to join the team in Los Angeles. In this role, you will partner with product managers, business teams, and other Data Science & Engineering colleagues to design metrics, develop analytic tools, and perform analyses that power content media operations at scale. Your analytical insights will help steer global media production strategy, identify fruitful ways to innovate content creation, and measure the impact of innovation bets like InterPositive – driving scale economies and even better creative storytelling across our diverse content slate.

As a Senior Analytics Engineer in this space, you will:

  • Be a strategic thought partner for Content & Business Product PMs, Content Operations teams, and AI Strategy & Innovation leaders, developing and executing new measurement frameworks that quantify how GenAI-powered production capabilities like InterPositive and other media innovations drive improvements in operational efficiency and creative flexibility

  • Drive the direction of your work, developing solutions that span from scrappy code and prototype tools to high-visibility dashboards and analyses for Business and Product & Tech leadership

  • Establish and maintain strong partnerships with a variety of business, product, and data-oriented stakeholders, working directly with them to introduce and influence data-informed ways of working

  • Collaborate with other Analytics Engineers, Data Scientists, and Data Engineers to source and model data from the content production workflow, strengthen our foundational data models, and identify ways to integrate insights that improve creative decision-making throughout the content creation workflow

About you

  • 8+ years of demonstrated experience with data wrangling, data analysis, metric visualization, and data storytelling to both technical and non-technical product and business stakeholders

  • An expert in the standard tech stack (i.e., SQL, Python) and intuitive dashboard/visualization design using common data visualization tools (i.e., Plotly, Streamlit)

  • Eager to dive into new spaces, defining measurement from the ground up for new technology - an exceptionally curious self-starter energized by ambiguity and able to thrive with minimal oversight and process

  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills coupled with strong business acumen

  • You independently connect the dots across business problems

  • You are known for developing and deepening strong relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders. You have experience partnering closely with executive leadership, with a proven track record of influencing strategic decisions through data

Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $330,000.00 - $566,000.00.
