Job Summary:
The Analytics Developer will support analytics, reporting, automation, and data-driven decision-making for technology capacity planning. The role involves collaborating with Technology leadership, Corporate Strategy, Finance, and enterprise reporting stakeholders to improve visibility into resource capacity, demand, delivery metrics, and operational performance. The candidate will be responsible for data preparation, capacity analytics, dashboard development, and process automation using tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, and Power BI. The role requires strong reporting and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful business insights and communicate findings effectively to senior-level executives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Gather and analyze business requirements from Technology leadership, Corporate Strategy, Finance, and enterprise reporting stakeholders.
• Analyze data from Clarity, Jira, and other related enterprise data sources.
• Support technology capacity planning, resource utilization analysis, demand forecasting, and delivery metrics reporting.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain Alteryx workflows for data preparation, analytics, and process automation.
• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI.
• Validate data quality, ensure reporting accuracy, and maintain consistency across enterprise data sources.
• Troubleshoot reporting issues and implement appropriate solutions.
• Develop and maintain repeatable processes for analytics, reporting, and data preparation.
• Translate complex data into meaningful business insights to support technology and operational decision-making.
• Present analytical findings, dashboards, and recommendations confidently to senior-level executives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reporting visibility, analytics capabilities, and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
• Strong experience in analytics development, reporting, and dashboard development.
• Experience with data preparation, data analysis, and reporting automation.
• Hands-on experience developing and maintaining Alteryx workflows.
• Experience developing dashboards and reports using Tableau and/or Power BI.
• Experience analyzing data from enterprise platforms such as Clarity and Jira.
• Strong understanding of technology capacity planning, resource capacity, demand, and delivery metrics.
• Ability to translate business requirements into effective analytical solutions and meaningful insights.
• Strong data validation, data quality, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present insights to senior-level executives.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Technology, Finance, Corporate Strategy, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Exposure to Apptio and related technology financial management or capacity planning concepts.
• Experience working with enterprise reporting systems and technology performance analytics.
