We are currently seeking an Analytical Environmental Senior Scientist for our Environmental & Earth Sciences Practice to be based in our Natick, MA; Burlington, MA; Bellevue, WA; Pasadena, CA; or Oakland, CA office. Other locations may be considered. In this role you will work as part of a team to provide technical analysis of analytical laboratory data packages and support data management for existing projects and business development efforts.

• Supporting multidisciplinary project teams on complex, challenging problems related to environmental and regulatory compliance and/or environmental assessment, remediation, and environmental forensics
• Synthesizing technical information and applying critical thinking to prepare and review reports and technical presentations
• Working cooperatively on projects with other members of the Environmental and Earth Sciences Practice and interdisciplinary groups from other Exponent practices as appropriate
• Developing client relationships and working in a team to build business in the Environmental and Earth Sciences Practice
• Investing in your professional development

• M.S. (with at least three (3) years of relevant experience), or Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry, Environmental Chemistry, Environmental Toxicology, or a related field
• At least three (3) years of experience in a compliance laboratory with QA/QC and data validation of analytical laboratory data packages from LC-MS/MS, GC-MS, and similar analytical instrumentation
• Significant hands-on experience with LC-MS/MS, GC-MS, and similar analytical instruments is a plus
• Strong interest in career and professional development within a dynamic consulting environment
• Strong ability to prioritize multiple projects with competing deadlines
• Excellent communication, organization, and writing skills
• Detail-oriented, able to work independently, and manage time effectively
• Presently legally authorized to work in the United States. No immigration sponsorship or processing required.

Exponent's total compensation plan is consistent with its expectations of the quality and quantity of work performed and with the professional standards set by Exponent. At the Associate and Senior Associate level, total compensation includes base salary, bi-weekly bonuses for high-intensity efforts, annual bonus and 401(k) employer contribution of 7% of base salary.

The base salary range for this position is dependent on experience and capabilities which will be assessed during the interview process.
