Job Description:

ITW is seeking a Financial Analyst - Management Reporting, or if experience is appropriate, can scale to a Senior Financial Analyst title, at its corporate campus in Glenview, IL. The Management Reporting group provides timely and effective management reporting, issuing accurate reporting of external segment financial statements, delivering Investor Relation communications, and driving operational efficiencies through process improvements and automation. This position will work collaboratively with other members of the Corporate Finance & Accounting team and with various corporate departments, business unit management teams, and our external auditors. As a member of the Corporate Finance & Accounting team at ITW's Corporate headquarters, this position has excellent visibility and will offer opportunities for rotation and advancement. This position will report to the Manager of Management Reporting.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with accounting close for the Management Reporting organization by preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results for the Company's external and operational financial reporting.
  • Provide reporting of the income statement and segment data from an internal and external perspective.
  • Support Senior Management and operating groups with the financial application (HFM) training and reporting.
  • Contribute to various department initiatives and cross-functional Finance projects to improve process efficiency and overall timeliness and accuracy of financial information
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency of existing processes and propose enhancements and participate in ad hoc projects


Qualifications and Skills Required
  • A bachelor's degree specifically in Accounting is required
  • 2+ years of professional corporate accounting experience is required
  • Ability to work 5 days a week in the office at the Glenview campus with flexibility on hours.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work in a diverse and multicultural environment
  • Strong analytical skills and business/financial acumen
  • Attention to detail, with high standards of accuracy and review
  • Organized and results-driven with the ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-task project environment
  • Ability to execute projects efficiently and effectively with limited supervision
  • Proficient with key financial applications, including Excel, experience with Oracle HFM a plus

Compensation Information:

The compensation package for the role offers a competitive base salary ranging from $74K - $88k annually.

ITW considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, geographic location, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

In addition to a competitive salary, ITW employees in the U.S. are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.
