Responsibilities

  • Oversees medical care for crew disembarked for medical reasons until they reach maximum medical improvement (MMI).
  • Maintains case documentation in the Riskonnect System on a regular basis.
  • Communicates biweekly with crew members regarding their medical benefits and treatment plans.
  • Calculates and updates financial reserves for cases, identifying high exposure medical situations when necessary.
  • Collaborates on medical disembarkation, considering the patient's condition and available resources.
  • Facilitates communication with emergency contacts regarding medical statuses and care actions taken.
  • Participates in meetings to review active cases and prepares associated reports.

Full Job Description
The Royal Caribbean Group's Risk Management Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Analyst, Senior Compliance reporting to the AVP, Crew Medical and Pre-Employment Health Screening.

The position is onsite and based in Miami, Florida.

The position is also not eligible for work authorization sponsorship.

Position Summary:

This position performs analytic and administrative activities focused on key Risk Management initiatives and participates in the assessment, development, and implementation of the Risk Management organization's (Crew Medical, Crew and Guest Claims, Litigation, Injury Prevention, Insurance & Claims Finance) strategy.

Specifically, this position is responsible for the primary administration and ongoing ownership of the Salesforce Platform, Riskonnect, and administration of the Riskonnect environment in conjunction with the needs of the Crew Wellness Program, Pre-Employment Medical Examination, and Shoreside Referral processes. This position will configure, maintain, and optimize Salesforce to support Risk Management business processes, as well as serve as liaison with the ship medical teams and our global approved PEME/Crew Medical provider community with Salesforce-related process improvements, system enhancements, issue resolution, and user enablement. Furthermore, this position will be responsible for Salesforce-based reports and dashboards for the Risk Management and Medical Operations departments on a weekly, monthly, and as needed basis and utilize Salesforce and enterprise analytics tools (e.g., Power BI) to retrieve and analyze data.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Conducts research and analytical studies, preparing reports that include program compliance, comparative data, and informational data using Salesforce reporting and dashboards to support findings.
  • Trains operational groups within the department to ensure Riskonnect is used accurately and completely and provides tools to help them manage their business.
  • Prepares continual analysis of the Crew Wellness, PEME, and Crew Medical Referral programs and follows up with the fleet, Medical Operations team, and/or our global provider community to remedy any identified issues through system configuration, automation, or data corrections within Salesforce.
  • Designs, configures, and maintains Salesforce solutions (objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, and flows) to drive departmental efficiency, compliance, and safety outcomes.
  • Evaluate and manage various levels of compliance with program requirements, while working in conjunction with third party vendors as needed, including coordination with IT and Salesforce support partners for enhancements and issue resolution
  • Documenting, evaluating, and auditing overall ship medical team and/or provider responsiveness and communicates findings to management. Provides Salesforce-based analytics and insights to management for distribution and follow up internally and externally. Escalates trends and anomalies.
  • Acts as first-level Salesforce system administrator for Riskonnect users, including:
  • User setup, roles, profiles, and permission sets
  • Data quality monitoring and remediation
  • Support intake, troubleshooting, and enhancement backlog management
  • Testing and deployment coordination across environments (sandbox and production)
  • Prepares departmental presentations and other special projects as assigned.

Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills:

Bachelors required.
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM-201) required or strongly preferred.
  • One to three years of related analysis and/or Salesforce administration experience or an appropriate combination of education and experience.
  • Salesforce Administrator experience supporting business users in a production environment strongly preferred
  • Able to interact effectively with various levels of management and handle multiple priorities/tasks
  • Able to recognize the existence of problems or potential problems and determine if further research is needed or if assistance is required
  • Self-motivated, adaptive, proactive, quick learner, and works well with others with minimum supervision, in a fast paced dynamic environment
  • Strong technical, analytic, problem solving and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail, yet maintain a big-picture point of view
  • Strong Salesforce platform skills, including Flow Builder, reports and dashboards, declarative automation, and data management tools (e.g., Data Loader)..
  • A positive attitude and proactive engagement in owning and continuously improving the Salesforce user experience
  • Self-starter with a "jump in mentality" to solve problems and provide essential
  • Proactively looks for process improvement opportunities within department. Understands and uses system solutions to drive department efficiencies and improve safety. Develops and maintains analytical tools to find efficiencies and identify opportunities for process improvement.
