Full Job Description
About the Position

The New York office has an opening within the Client and Product Solutions Group ("CPSG") - Fortress's capital formation organization, spanning the Sales, Product, and Client Service functions across the Private Wealth Solutions and Institutional Sales channels - for an Analyst / Associate on the Sales Strategy & Analytics team. The team serves as the analytical engine of the business and the source of much of the insight on which senior leadership relies.

This is a data-forward role at the intersection of strategy, process, and data. The most valuable work in this function comes from bringing the three together - grounding strategy in data, translating it into sharper and more scalable process, and measuring the results. Artificial intelligence is central to that ambition: the objective is not simply to apply AI to existing tasks, but to reimagine how the business operates around it, rethinking workflows, reporting, and decision-making from the data up. This individual will sit at the heart of that effort.

This is a high-impact, highly visible position with significant ownership and breadth. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leaders across the group, gain comprehensive exposure to the business, and have substantial opportunity to shape how it operates - and to grow as the platform does.

Responsibilities
  • Strategy & analysis: Partner with leadership on the analyses and models that inform forecasting, planning, and key decisions, developing initial work for senior review and assuming greater ownership over time.
  • Data & insight: Build, own, and continually improve the data and reporting that illuminate how the business is performing and where it is heading, translating data into clear, decision-ready insight delivered reliably and on schedule.
  • Process & systems: Design and refine the processes and systems - including the CRM and the data that underpins it - that allow the organization to operate at scale, establishing a well-documented, authoritative source of truth.
  • AI & reinvention: Help reimagine how the business works around AI - identifying where intelligent automation can replace manual effort, rethinking existing workflows, and helping to introduce new tools and build fluency with them across the team.
  • Communication & materials: Prepare polished first drafts of leadership and board materials, briefings, and team communications, working from templates and live data.
  • Cross-functional initiatives: Support and help drive strategic projects through to completion.

Qualifications

We are seeking an exceptional thinker - someone with the analytical ability and intellectual curiosity to take on unfamiliar problems and make rapid progress with limited direction. We invest meaningfully in the development of our people, and we are correspondingly selective about those we bring on.
  • Outstanding analytical and quantitative ability; able to reason from first principles and bring rigor and precision to all work.
  • Highly self-directed and quick to learn, comfortable navigating ambiguity and unfamiliar subject matter without a defined roadmap.
  • A strong affinity for data and the tools that turn it into insight - advanced Excel and financial modeling, with genuine enthusiasm for AI and automation; aptitude or experience across data, business intelligence, CRM, or light scripting is an advantage.
  • Clear and confident written and visual communication.
  • Reliability, ownership, and sound judgment, with the ability to move between long-term projects and time-sensitive requests while maintaining a consistently high standard of work.
  • One to four years of experience. We are more interested in how you think than in any particular professional background; strong candidates may come from investment banking, management consulting, data and analytics, or other demanding, analytically rigorous environments. Familiarity with alternative investments or private markets is welcome, as is experience with modern data and CRM tools, though neither is required.
The base salary range for this position is expected to be between 125,000 and 130,000

The base salary range proposed for this role has been set forth to comply with local law, but salary is only one element of the total compensation for this role. The base salary range suggested above does not include compensation elements such as bonuses, overtime and deferred cash (each of which are applicable in certain roles), benefits, perquisites, and company contributions to employee 401(k) accounts. Such other pay components often result in total compensation materially exceeding base salary for a particular role. Total compensation as well as base salary for a role depend in part upon individual performance, years of service, experience, geographic considerations, the performance and the needs of particular business units, company performance, and general market conditions.
