- A Brief Overview
Reserve setting production team responsible for various Aetna reserves with the main reserve being IBNR. Engages in self-assessment, receives feedback, and works on developing key leadership skills such as communication, problem-solving, and decision-making. Collaborates with mentors, participates in team projects, and demonstrates a commitment to personal and professional growth to enhance their leadership capabilities and contribute effectively to the organization. - What you will do Evaluates Run the monthly financial closes where the reserves are set for the Aetna balance sheets. Perform studies evaluating reserving methods. Digging into models to find drivers of results. Set IBNR and presenting on IBNR picks. GAAP & Stat reporting. Maintaining SOX compliance.
- For this role you will need Minimum Requirements 0-2 years work experience. Basic awareness of problem solving and decision making skills
- Education Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Required Qualifications• Meet educational requirements (see education section)• Have passed one actuarial exam
- Preferred Qualifications• Internship or work experience supporting Actuarial functions of an organization or group area.• Demonstrated leadership experience. • Strong written communication skills. Experience with Excel, SAS & SQL • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines• Possess strong analytical and problem resolution skills• Encourage teamwork and a positive environment to improve team effectiveness• Be resourceful and can quickly and successfully adapt to change

Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:
$67,980.00 - $135,960.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
