What will you do?
A day in the life of a Senior Copywriter at Altra looks a little like this.
The Senior Copywriter is responsible for concepting and writing brand and product-level assets for integrated campaigns, product launches, social campaigns, eCommerce, emails, and events. You'll work closely with our creative leadership team to help Altra break through and stand out while being a trusted copy expert in a small, entrepreneurial team environment. This role reports to the Associate Creative Director.

Work with the Associate Creative Director (Copy) and Copywriter to effectively communicate and shape brand voice and messaging strategy across a wide range of deliverables.
Elevate the brands voice across highly visible channels.
Provide creative thinking and lead copy across all Altra needs, including integrated campaigns, website assets, emails, digital banners, social media, video, print ads, and mailers.
Collaborate closely with Art Directors, Associate Creative Directors, Marketers, and other Altra teams.
Lead workstreams when appropriate; own deadlines, align with stakeholders, champion quality.
Be a core player in the social production process.
Demonstrate extreme attention to detail across all work.
Consistently meet established deadlines.
Perform occasional additional duties as deemed appropriate by the creative team leaders.
What do you need to succeed?
We all have unique skills that we bring to work and celebrate every day. For this role, there are foundation skills you'll need to succeed and excel. Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 5+ years of experience in an agency or in-house Copywriting role.
The foundation skills you will need in this position are:
Portfolio demonstrating unique conceptual thinking and engaging copy.
Experience and comfort working in a fast-paced creative team environment.
Ability to manage workload, deadlines, and schedules.
Understanding of the creative process from briefing through post-production.
Knowledge of best practices across different channels.
Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
Positive attitude and pride in the process of making and presenting great work.
Ability to present work to stakeholders, talking through decisions and strategy in real time.
Willingness and ability to take direction from Creative Directors and Associate Creative Directors while applying constructive feedback to your own work and that of others.
Proactively seeks out improvement, training, and growth opportunities.

Hiring Range:
$83,808.00 USD - $104,760.00 USD annually
Incentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
