Title:

Aircraft Systems Integrator

KBR is seeking a highly motivated self-starter, adaptable to a fast-paced exciting environment as Aircraft Systems Integrator to support the Advanced Sensors Technologies (AST) Program Office (PO) in Dallas, TX.  This work is with a high op tempo team working on innovative technologies to maintain superiority in support of Air Warfare and Surface Warfare mission areas.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Support aircraft integration and maintenance duties as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  • Assist fleet and test squadrons with installation, integration, and troubleshooting efforts.
  • Manage support ground stations and associated support equipment.
  • Assist with maintenance management for P-8A aircraft.
  • Plan organizational, intermediate and depot maintenance efforts.
  • Provide input and validation/verification of Technical Directives.
  • Provide updates/reports on time to Military and Civilian stake holders.
  • Provide specialized training to military and civilian personnel.
  • Create work schedules, assist with maintenance priorities, and analyze operational schedules to coordinate ongoing maintenance planning.
  • Provide product logistic support for AST PO systems.
  • Technical assistance in mechanical and integrated electrical sub-systems involving complex designs.
  • Coordinate special tooling, equipment, publications, and aircraft parts for P-8A military aircraft.
  • Perform inspections, unscheduled maintenance actions and assisted in Technical Directives compliance.
  • Support technical directive and publication reviews upon request and provide technical feedback.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Clearance & Citizenship: Active Top Secret/SSBI; SSBI completed within the last 6 years or enrollment in Continuous Evaluation.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline OR High School Diploma with at least 8 years of systems integration experience.
  • Experience: Systems integration, installation, and checkout experience on Navy aircraft.  Instrumentation monitoring and measurement integration experience. In-depth knowledge of Navy Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP). In depth knowledge of Naval Quality Assurance. Demonstrated ability to work with integrated test teams comprising military, civilian, and contractor personnel. Effective oral and written communication skills. Effective organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.  Must have completed a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) within the past six (6) years or currently enrolled in the Continuous Evaluation (CE) Program

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Systems integration, installation and checkout experience on P-8A aircraft
  • AST System-Equipped P-8A A-Kit integration experience.
  • P-8A Turret Deployment Unit and MX-series installation experience
  • P-8A Liquid Air Pallet Systems (LAPS) integration experience

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 hours/week
