- Partner with engineering, product, and operations teams to ensure AI solutions are maintainable, sustainable, and future-forward.
- Stay hands-on with emerging technologies and continuously evaluate new tools and techniques to keep solutions cutting-edge.
- Document and evolve architectural standards and best practices.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to team members to grow internal capabilities in AI.
- Support business development efforts by articulating AI solution value to customers and partners.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering or architecture, with demonstrated success delivering customer-facing solutions.
- 2+ years in a technical leadership or mentorship role.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), data systems, and system integration.
- Proven experience evaluating architectural tradeoffs (e.g., performance, scalability, cost, cloud vs. on-prem).
- Experience in Agile/Scrum teams and iterative product development.
- Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Additional Items of Interest: - Familiarity with state-of-the-art AI frameworks and LLMs, such as LangChain, Hugging Face, or OpenAI APIs.
- Experience working directly with customers or cross-functional leadership teams.
- Exposure to MLOps, AIOps, or responsible AI frameworks is a plus.
- Ability to travel by car and/or plane up to 10%.
