About the RoleOur client is hiring a
Software Engineer to help design, build, and scale core product features across the platform.
This is a high-ownership engineering role for someone who can take ambiguous product requirements, break them down, design a clean solution, ship production-quality code, and own the feature through launch, monitoring, and iteration.
The team works AI-first. Engineers are expected to use LLMs, coding agents, and AI-assisted workflows to move quickly without sacrificing quality, reliability, or long-term maintainability.
What You'll Do- Own product features end-to-end, from problem definition through design, development, testing, launch, monitoring, and support
- Break down product requirements into clear technical plans and shipped outcomes
- Build simple, elegant systems and write high-quality code that other engineers can easily understand and extend
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering to turn ideas into production features
- Influence product direction with your own ideas and identify ways to improve user workflows and business processes
- Balance immediate business needs with long-term architecture and platform quality
- Build across backend, frontend, infrastructure, and AI systems depending on the problem
- Use AI tools, LLMs, and agents as part of the software development lifecycle
- Build testing, monitoring, and reliability into the way features are shipped
- Help scale a platform used by modern go-to-market teams to improve sales execution and customer intelligence
What We're Looking For- 2+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Fluency with AI-forward software development workflows using LLMs, agents, or AI coding tools
- Experience building production-grade software without sacrificing quality for speed
- Strong fundamentals in software design and knowing when to apply patterns like SOLID or similar principles
- Ability to take ambiguous problems and turn them into well-reasoned designs and shipped solutions
- Comfort owning features end-to-end across frontend and backend systems
- Strong autonomy, ownership, and bias toward action
- Experience building, launching, and maintaining products in fast-paced environments
- Strong collaboration skills across product, design, engineering, and customer-facing stakeholders
- Grit, adaptability, and comfort navigating ambiguity in an early-stage environment
Technical ExperienceOur client is especially interested in engineers with experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Go or another strongly typed backend language
- Distributed systems, infrastructure, or scaling
- LLM harnesses or agentic systems
- Concurrent or asynchronous processing
- Testing, monitoring, observability, and reliability
- Full-stack product engineering
Technical EnvironmentRelevant technologies include: Go, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, AWS, Kafka, Redit, Temporal Workflows, React, Tailwind, Next.js, GraphQL, LLMs and AI Agents.
Experience with every tool is not required. Strong engineering fundamentals, product ownership, and AI-native development ability matter more than exact stack match.
