Software Engineer - Platform** An active TS//SCI clearance with polygraph is required for this role **
About this RoleWe're building the next generation of AI infrastructure - and we need a Platform Software Engineer to help lay the foundation. This team owns the AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes clusters, and security posture that every AI capability in the organization runs on. You'll be working at the base layer: the systems that everything else depends on.
In this role, you'll deploy and maintain reliable, secure cloud infrastructure while supporting a broad ecosystem of AI-enabled applications. Mission needs shift fast and new technologies emerge constantly, so you'll be continuously sharpening your skills and turning loosely defined problems into working solutions. What you'll be doing day to day:
- Deploying and maintaining cloud infrastructure on AWS and Kubernetes that supports the organization's AI capabilities
- Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code for repeatable, reliable deployments
- Configuring and using observability tooling to monitor the health and performance of production services
- Supporting certificate management and following established security best practices for AI systems and data
- Collaborating with other teams across the organization to provision and configure the infrastructure their services depend on
- Diagnosing and helping resolve production infrastructure issues as they arise
Requirements- 3 years of relevant experience, with a B.S. in a technical discipline - or 7 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- Proficiency with Python or another modern programming language
- Familiarity with AWS or other cloud service providers
- Understanding of containerization concepts and tooling such as Docker
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt as requirements evolve
- Strong communication skills and a genuine willingness to ask questions
Preferred Skills- Experience with AWS services such as EKS, Terraform, and IAM
- Experience with Kubernetes and Helm or Kustomize
- Experience with Argo CD and/or other CI/CD frameworks
- Experience with the Elastic Stack (Kibana), Grafana/Prometheus, or other observability tools and practices
- Experience with certificate management
- Experience supporting cloud-native architecture or maintaining production software and infrastructure
- Familiarity with LLMs and AI hosting concepts

Salary Range$197,500 - $232,500
This range includes our flex income and depends upon your annual work hours.
Salary is determined on an individual basis following the interview process and considering various factors such as years of experience, skills, education, and certifications.
