Strong grasp of Public Markets investment processes and analytical tools
Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements
Proficient in business assessments and solution implementation
Familiarity with investment management platforms like Bloomberg
Knowledge of data technologies such as SQL Server and Power BI is a plus
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage multiple workstreams independently
CFA, FRM, or similar designation is a plus
Bilingual in English and French is preferred

ABOUT THE TEAM
Public Markets Solutions partners with Public Markets investment teams to design, evolve and support scalable digital, data and analytical capabilities across the investment lifecycle.
The team connects investment priorities with technology delivery, working collaboratively with business, data, technology and operational partners to translate business needs into practical and sustainable solutions aligned with the organization's operating model and enterprise direction.
ABOUT YOUR ROLE
As an Advisor, Public Markets Solutions, you'll:
Act as a trusted partner to Public Markets investment teams for the solutions, tools and data within your area of responsibility
Understand business requirements and translate them in collaboration with the team into functional, analytical or technology solutions
Advise stakeholders on the evolution and effective use of platforms supporting investment activities.
Lead or coordinate business analysis activities, including requirements gathering, impact assessment, option analysis and recommendation development
Collaborate closely with Technology, Data and Operations teams to deliver solutions aligned with business needs
Support testing, deployment, change management and user adoption activities for new capabilities and enhancements
Monitor operational requests, incidents and issues related to supported solutions and coordinate resolution efforts
Serve as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure alignment on priorities and expected outcomes
Identify and promote continuous improvement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, data quality and user experience
Oversee the evolution, stability and business value of applications and solutions supporting Public Markets activities
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in investment technology, business or systems analysis, digital solutions, financial analytics, asset management or financial services
Strong understanding of Public Markets investment processes, portfolio management concepts, investment data and analytical tools used by investment professionals
Experience gathering, analyzing and documenting business requirements and translating them into functional requirements or solution recommendations
Experience conducting business assessments, analyzing complex issues and contributing to the definition, implementation and adoption of solutions
Experience with investment management or financial analytics platforms, including Bloomberg solutions
Knowledge of data and business intelligence technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server, Power BI or similar tools is considered an asset
Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to independently manage multiple workstreams, establish priorities, coordinate contributors and operate effectively in a complex environment
CFA, FRM, CIPM or another relevant professional designation is considered an asset
Bilingualism: English and French (frequent interactions in English with PSP employees based in our offices in Hong Kong, London and New York, and interactions in French with employees in our local offices in Montreal and Ottawa)
