Design-Build, Senior Project Manager - Richardson, TX

The Design-Build Project Manager leads the successful delivery of projects from preconstruction through completion, serving as the primary client contact and coordinating internal teams, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders. This role is responsible for delivering projects on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate has strong design-build experience, proven leadership and communication skills, and the ability to manage complex projects while building trusted client relationships and aligning resources to achieve project objectives.

What you will do:

  • Lead design-build projects from preconstruction through completion and closeout.
  • Service as the primary client contact and foster strong, lasting relationships.
  • Coordinate project teams, consultants, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage project scope, schedules, budgets, contracts, and execution plans.
  • Monitor project performance and proactively manage risks, changes, and financial outcomes.
  • Lead project meetings and ensure clear communication among all parties.
  • Review project deliverables to ensure quality, compliance, and constructability.
  • Collaborate with design and construction teams to resolve technical and field challenges.
  • Support preconstruction activities, including estimating, scheduling, procurement, and value engineerings.
  • Ensure successful project delivery by meeting contractual, quality, safety, and regulatory requirements while supporting business development efforts.


What you will need:

  • 8-10+ years of progressive design-build experience, including management of complex projects from preconstruction through completion.
  • Strong knowledge of design-build delivery methods, construction processes, contracts, scheduling, budgeting, and project controls.
