UNCHMG Urgent Care at Chatham Park, located in Pittsboro, NC, is currently seeking a Full-time, Urgent Care Physician Assistant (PA). Providers are part of an interdisciplinary team and responsible for treating episodic illnesses, minor injuries, and providing occupational health services and exams. We see patients 4 months of age and older. Our team includes RNs, CMAs, Rad Techs, MOAs, Physicians and APPs. We have on-site X-Ray and point of care testing. Our clinics are walk-in based. Ideal Candidate:- Completion of accredited Physician Assistant program
- Work experiencein acute care, primary care, urgent care, or emergency room settingpreferred
- Must provide care to patients 4 months of age and older
- NC Licensure or ability to obtain
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to establish rapport with patients & collaborate effectively with team members
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Required procedures: Suturing, splinting
- DOT Certification
- Knowledge of OSHA recordables preferred, but not required
Clinic Schedule:- 8:00am - 8:00pm (Sunday - Saturday)
- Plus, weekends & holidays
