Education - Nurse Practitioner - Masters in Nursing - Nurse Practitioner License State of Virginia - Nurse Practitioner Certification - Physician Assistant - Master Degree - Physician Assistant License State of Virginia Licensure & Certification (Required) - Nurse Practitioner: - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia. - Active Virginia Nurse Practitioner license with a specialty designation aligned to inpatient care. - National NP certification in the appropriate specialty: - Family NP- FNP-BC or FNP-C - Physician Assistant: - Active and unrestricted Virginia PA license. - Current NCCPA certification. Prescriptive Authority Requirements - Active DEA registration (or eligibility). - Eligibility for Schedule II-VI prescriptive authority in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
