Hiring Range: $125,000.00– $155,000.00 Actual pay depends on specialty, experience, and performance Riverside Health Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and dual-certified Advanced Practice Provider (Family Nurse Practitioner & Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner) or Physician Assistant to join our team at the Riverside Mental Health & Recovery Center in Hampton, Virginia. ​Advanced Practice Provider (FNP & PMHNP) – Riverside Mental Health & Recovery Center Location: Hampton, Virginia Position Type: Full-Time | 5 x 8 Hour Shifts | No On-Call Position Overview This full-time role consists of five 8-hour shifts per week, with no on-call responsibilities. The provider will focus, the APP will complete medical H&Ps within 24 hours of the patients’ admission to RMHRC. In addition, the APP will assist with any medical consults that come up within the psychiatric unit.  Additional shifts may be available for those interested in supplemental compensation. Qualifications & Requirements Education & Licensure: Education & Licensure: - Nurse Practitioner: Master’s in Nursing, current NP license, and board certification (FNP & PMHNP) - Physician Assistant: Master’s degree and current PA license - Eligible for Virginia state medical licensure - Valid DEA registration Preferred Experience & Skills: - Independent clinical decision-making - Proficiency in diagnosing and treating common psychiatric and medical conditions - Familiarity with managed care and Medicare populations - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Professional demeanor and appearance - Basic computer literacy Scope of Practice - Conduct comprehensive physical and psychiatric assessments - Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests - Develop and implement individualized care plans - Provide patient education and counseling - Prescribe and evaluate treatments - Maintain accurate and timely documentation Highlights - Full Time Opportunities, - Comprehensive Health Benefits and Retirement Package - Physician Time Off - Malpractice Coverage - CME Allowance - Please note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
