Advanced Practice Provider (APP) - Gynecology

Location: Fox Chase Cancer Center (Philadelphia, PA) and satellite locations

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday

Position Summary

Fox Chase Cancer Center is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (PA-C or CRNP) to join our Gynecology team. This role is ideal for someone interested in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to women with a broad range of benign gynecologic conditions as well as gynecologic cancer survivors. The APP will play an integral role in providing comprehensive outpatient evaluation, treatment, survivorship care, and care coordination while collaborating closely with gynecologic surgeons, gynecologic oncology providers, and a multidisciplinary care team.

The APP will work alongside dedicated physicians and fellow APPs in both shared and independent clinic settings. Responsibilities include evaluating and managing benign gynecologic conditions, providing long-term surveillance and survivorship care for patients following treatment for gynecologic malignancies, coordinating care across specialties, and participating in quality improvement and educational initiatives. Job Duties Include (but are not limited to):
  • Conduct outpatient clinic visits independently and alongside faculty, including new patient consultations, follow-up visits, survivorship appointments, and ongoing management of benign gynecologic conditions
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide variety of benign gynecologic disorders using evidence-based practice
  • Provide comprehensive survivorship care for patients following treatment for gynecologic cancers, including surveillance, symptom management, and coordination of long-term follow-up
  • Perform gynecologic examinations and office-based procedures within scope of practice, including endometrial biopsy, cervical biopsies, colposcopy assistance, pessary management, and other minor procedures as appropriate
  • Review and interpret laboratory results, pathology, imaging, and diagnostic studies to guide patient care decisions
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary care with gynecologic oncology, medical oncology, radiation oncology, primary care, genetics, rehabilitation services, social work, and nursing teams
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, survivorship recommendations, preventive care, and health maintenance
  • Assist with preoperative and postoperative management of gynecologic surgery patients as needed
  • Participate in multidisciplinary discussions, quality improvement initiatives, education, research, and professional development opportunities
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in gynecology, women's health, oncology, primary care, or surgical specialties preferred but not required
  • Experience evaluating and managing common gynecologic conditions preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic reasoning, and patient counseling skills
  • Ability to function effectively in an independent outpatient practice while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
