Spectra Tech, Inc. is hiring for a Advanced Practice Providers II (PA-C / Nurse Practitioner) in Los Alamos, NM.
Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Advanced Practice Provider to deliver high-quality healthcare services to Laboratory employees within an Occupational Health setting. This position works closely with Occupational Health physicians and serves as a clinical resource for Occupational Health staff, providing care through the lens of occupational medicine.

This is a fully qualified, career-level position requiring independent clinical judgment and the ability to resolve a wide range of occupational health issues while working under limited supervision.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational healthcare services to Laboratory employees.
  • Assist Occupational Health physicians with clinical care and patient management.
  • Serve as a clinical resource for Occupational Health staff.
  • Deliver patient care consistent with the scope of occupational medicine.

Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
  • 2-5 years of recent clinical experience in:
    • Occupational Medicine

OR
  • A clinically related specialty, including:
    • Family Medicine
    • Emergency Medicine
    • Urgent Care
    • Internal Medicine
    • Sports Medicine
Licensure & Certifications
Physician Assistant (PA-C)
  • Board Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) through the NCCPA
  • Licensed by the New Mexico Board of Medical Examiners/New Mexico Medical Board
  • Current New Mexico Pharmacy License
  • Current DEA License
Nurse Practitioner (NP)
  • Certification through a nationally recognized Nurse Practitioner certifying organization (including the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC))
  • Licensed by the New Mexico Board of Nursing as both:
    • Registered Nurse (RN)
    • Nurse Practitioner (NP)
  • Current New Mexico Pharmacy License
  • Current DEA License
