Occupational Health Advanced Practice Provider to deliver high-quality healthcare services to Laboratory employees within an Occupational Health setting. This position works closely with Occupational Health physicians and serves as a clinical resource for Occupational Health staff, providing care through the lens of occupational medicine.
This is a fully qualified, career-level position requiring independent clinical judgment and the ability to resolve a wide range of occupational health issues while working under limited supervision.
Key Responsibilities- Provide occupational healthcare services to Laboratory employees.
- Assist Occupational Health physicians with clinical care and patient management.
- Serve as a clinical resource for Occupational Health staff.
- Deliver patient care consistent with the scope of occupational medicine.
- Apply Laboratory objectives and clinical expertise to resolve a wide range of occupational health issues.
- Exercise independent clinical judgment while working under limited direction.
Required QualificationsEducation & Experience- 2-5 years of recent clinical experience in:
OR- A clinically related specialty, including:
- Family Medicine
- Emergency Medicine
- Urgent Care
- Internal Medicine
- Sports Medicine
Licensure & CertificationsPhysician Assistant (PA-C)- Board Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) through the NCCPA
- Licensed by the New Mexico Board of Medical Examiners/New Mexico Medical Board
- Current New Mexico Pharmacy License
- Current DEA License
Nurse Practitioner (NP)- Certification through a nationally recognized Nurse Practitioner certifying organization (including the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC))
- Licensed by the New Mexico Board of Nursing as both:
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- Current New Mexico Pharmacy License
- Current DEA License
