Full Job Description
We are seeking an Advanced Mechanical Engineer in our Broomfield CO location In this role, you will design, develop, and validate mechanical systems and subsystems, contributing independently to technical solutions. You will apply expertise in areas such as structural design, thermal management, materials, or mechanisms to solve complex problems and drive development activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and validate mechanical components and subsystems with increasing independence
  • Lead prototyping and testing efforts for subsystems, including fixture design and validation
  • Create and manage detailed CAD models, assemblies, and engineering documentation
  • Drive design improvements for reliability, manufacturability, and system performance
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate mechanical designs into complex systems
  • Own documentation release processes and ensure compliance with configuration management standards


MUST HAVE:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree
  • 4+ years of experience of mechanical engineering.
  • Due to Contractual requirements, must be a U.S. Person defined as, U.S. citizen permanent resident or green card holder, workers granted asylum or refugee status.
  • Due to national security requirements imposed by the U.S. Government, candidates for this position must not be a People's Republic of China national or Russian national unless the candidate is also a U.S. citizen.


WE VALUE:

  • Experience with mechanical system design, testing, and analysis, including electro-mechanical, thermal, or precision systems, with exposure to environments such as laboratory, cleanroom, or development settings.
  • Proficiency in CAD and documentation of complex multi-part assemblies, with understanding of design for manufacturability, GD&T, and tolerance stack-ups.
  • Experience supporting prototyping and working with manufacturing vendors, including hands-on troubleshooting and iterative design improvement.
  • Ability to apply engineering tools and methodologies (e.g., FEA, thermal, stress, EMI analysis) and collaborate across teams to solve technical problems involving complex systems such as electronic packaging, server infrastructure, or specialized environments (e.g., vacuum, cryogenic, or laser-based systems).


$116,000 - $145,000 a year

Compensation and Benefits

The pay range for this role is $116,000 - $145,000 annually. Actual compensation within this range may vary based on the candidate's skills, educational background, professional experience, and unique qualifications for the role.
