Join PALFINGER Interlift as an Industrial Engineer and help improve how we work. In this role, you will streamline manufacturing processes, improve productivity, support quality, and lead projects that drive operational excellence. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build safer, smarter, and more efficient operations. The position will work out of the Cerritos, CA location and eventually move to Buena Park, CA location. Your Responsibilities
  • Improve manufacturing processes, workflows, equipment layouts, and work procedures. Apply lean management methodology.
  • Lead industrial engineering projects from planning through completion.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and cross-functional teams.
  • Conduct time studies, capacity planning, cost analysis, and work simplification reviews.
  • Use data, metrics, and process mapping to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Support safety, quality, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Your Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in industrial engineering, operations, or process improvement.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment is required. Strong working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (Sage preferred).
  • Strong project management experience, including timelines, budgets, managing resources, conflict resolution, negotiation and deliverables.
  • Knowledge of time studies, workflow analysis, capacity planning, and cost analysis.
  • Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, team building and teamwork skills.
